Hi there all of you Dallas Aquaphorians!! I miss Texas, decent bike training here in North Carolina, but the pools aren't great for swimming. Miss that pool at the Landry Center and DAM!!

Hope your training is going well, maybe someday we'll be back in Texas, fingers crossed!

!IMG_0051.JPG!Hello fellow Texans from beautiful Austin. Well, we went right past spring and into summer. It's not like we really have a spring anyhow. My name is Rick Balazs and this is my 2nd year with Team Aquaphor. I battled injuries last year but was able to finish IronMan Florida , my A race, even though I wasn't 100% healthy and wasn't in quite the running shape I wanted to be in. I'm looking forward to a healthy year of preparation for my next IM St. George in 2010. This year is all about training my butt off and keeping it shorter with all the great local races including IM70.3 Buffalo Springs and Longhorn 70.3.

It was great to start the year off with a short sprint at The Rookie in New Braunfels. So far so good, Masters Champion (which is just a nice way of saying old guys) and 2nd overall. I hope to see many of you at CapTex Memorial Day.
