I think that we should go after this contest prize of $500 to split amongst the team (10 of us) and perhaps apply a portion to a unified hosted breakfast. If we can coordinate this right we could even use the group breakfast event to generate some media exposure.
I propose that we get as many team members together in Boston as possible before Sept 14 for a group photo and that we can submit to this contest (along with our numerous individual photos). We could also then include this photo along with our individual photos when submitting press releases to the media to help generate potential media exposures for each other as well.

I did some brief location scouting prior to the Nike+ race on 8/31 and took some photos of potential sites for group photos in the Boston market. However, while running around I thought of a great idea. We need to have a Bear Naked Boston (Market) Tea Party where we get a group together at either a lush hotel or Newbury Street cafe with the big pot of tea, silver service wear, dainty cups, and the like along with a few assorted flavor bags of Bear Naked for some photos. It could be staged without actual Tea and maybe timed for a slow period in the dining room where they wouldn't care so much. Sure, we could also do it in the Tea cafe where I work on Sunday's, but that just doesn't have the right flair or sense of place.
The Hatch Shell on the Esplanade is viewed nationally on July 4th and is very recognizable as Boston. I think we just missed the final Wednesday night concert performance in which we could have had this backdrop filled with musicians and fans. Tagline, Boston: No iPod Required .
The MA State House, on the stairs leading up from the Boston Common.
The Boston Public Library (BPL), just upstream from the Marathon Finish Line. The line itself is not very attractive and the construction fencing makes it even worse. However, this shot from in front of the Marathon Sports says it all.
What I think is a great detail shot in front of the McKimm Building (BPL). Insert team members to the left side on the steps.
A larger facade shot that sets the location (from Copley Square) but loses the details. Copley Square itself is No Good because of construction fencing and baracades eliminating a great shot in front of Trinity Church.
The Public Garden is difficult to find something that appears unique to Boston and not just in a park anywhere. If the Swan Boats were out this shot would have looked better.
The Christian Science Temple (and reflecting pool not pictured) near Symphony Hall and the Prudential Center is also a Boston Landmark with potential for great photos prior to sunset.
The North End (Paul Revere statue), the USS Constitution, the Old State House, Faniuel Hall, etc. are all still good locations as well.
