Iron Girl

Posted by AmyKr on Dec 8, 2008 7:47:54 PM

Hi, Team. I represented MGD64 at the Iron Girl run this past weekend. I did the 10 miler with my mom. They usually have a pretty good breakfast after this run, but when we got up there, it was all gone I think I'll be doing the Reindeer Run this next Sunday. It's for Toys for Tots, so I always like to do this one.  Anyone else doing events next weekend?

Amy I am so bummed I missed you on Saturday!! Everyone kept telling me there were 2 other girls in MGD 64 shirts, and I said "Oh that has to be Kim and Amy!'  I found Kim but never saw you!!

I was REALLY bummed about no breakfast!  After 10 miles you are kind of hungry!!!!  I have done the RDR before, but cannot make it this year due to our tri club party.

Hey Amy, where did you find your posed IronGirl picture?  I've scoured the IronGirl website, but I can't find where they posted the "green screen" pictures that we posed for after the race. I did find the ASI photos, but I don't buy their seriously overpriced photos anymore.

I agree, the ASI photos are out of control.  The other pics are on www.pictureu.com/AflacIronGirl.  They should have given you a card with a code on it when they took it.  Hopefully you can still search the site an find yours.  Sorry I missed you guys!
