We're Getting Noticed!

Posted by krosenlof on Dec 16, 2008 4:49:57 PM

Hey Team Phoenix,

I ran the Fiesta Bowl Half Marathon this past Sunday and had a great race! I ran the first 10 miles at about a 10-minute per mile pace, then kicked it up to sub-9's for the last 5k. You should have seen the looks on the faces of guys I passed at the end when I went by in the bright yellow MGD64 shirt!

Anyway, during the race, I received several comments and questions about MGD64 and the program. One person asked, "cool shirt, how do I get one?" Another person asked, "Were you at IronGirl last week?" And another person said that MGD64 was the only beer she drinks. This was really the first time I got a lot of comments about the MGD64 shirt, and all were positive.

I hope you all are getting the same kind of positive feedback. I think we're starting to make an impact!!!

Hey Kim! Way to go on your run!  I hope to run as well in the 10 mile Frosty's run this Sunday at Reach 11...good prep for PFChangs!  Glad to hear the shirts are getting noticed...I've been wearing mine but haven't rec'd as much direct feedback so far.

ROCK ON MGD 64 LADIES!!!  We are so glad that you are enjoying the shirts and that y'all are getting noticed by your peers.

We look forward to seeing the photos with the yellow team highlights-literally!  I wish I could have seen the guys faces as you passed them by.   Maybe they should be drinking MGD 64 instead of their imported beers

Cheers!

Wow! Good for you! I hope I can run the PFChangs marathon in the time you did this one.  I run about a 9 to 10 minute mile in general and I am sure the PhChangs will be a challenge for me since I have only ran about 5 miles ever. haha.  Oh well it will be fun.  I will be wearing my yellow shirt too so lets see what attention I get as well.
