Well, people have been asking for another blog. I've been a little hesitant as my summer has not gone as well as I had hoped and there hasn't been any successes to write about in the doubles world. I won't go into the details of each loss, but a few of them came with match points, a few we came out and just didn't play that great. The good thing is that US Open is still upcoming and a good result there can negate a summer of frustrating losses. I'll be back to write more fu...
I guess it is obvious that I did not do well in Romania-gosh that seems so long ago... I lost my singles match 6-1 6-2! Yikes. I made 44 unforced errors... I don't think I made that many errors in 4 years in college! No just kidding. My goal is to become an all court player. That requires taking more risks than I am used to taking. I have to just keep plugging away with the knowledge that one day it will all come together. The more I lose, the more I start to think-that ...

Natasha did a search online to find a sports psychologist in the Washington DC area and we stumbled upon a woman who played college tennis, coached tennis and who has worked with tenn...
Wednesday, April 1, 2009 I was supposed to be in the qualifying, but got into the main draw at the last minute. So I had a few days to get acclimated. The night that I got to Cairo I pulled up to the hotel it looked great. The lobby was sparkling it looked like any other five star hotel that I have stayed in. It was only in the next morning that I really saw what was up! I walked on to my balcony looked to the left and realized that the other wings of the hotel were not finished and ...

I put clothes on grabbed my things ran down to the lobby to make sure I had a ride and waited until 2am when the taxi was going to pick me up to take me to the airpor...
