How to: Schedule a planned workout to my calendar

VERSION 1

Created on: Feb 21, 2008 12:31 PM by AaronP3 - Last Modified: Feb 25, 2008 2:32 PM by AaronP3

Scheduled workouts are workouts that you plan to complete. This feature allows you to map out your training in advance and receive daily email reminders each morning. You can schedule a workout in Active Trainer directly from any of the calendar views: Daily Log, Week and Month.

Steps

(1) Click on any of the “Schedule a workout” links highlighted below

(2) Next, select the workout type you would like to schedule. Each workout type has a specific structure allowing you to track the most relevant data. Click “Continue” when finished.

(3) Your workout specific template will load, allowing you to track the most relevant information for your sport. Click “Save” when finished.

(4) The workout will appear as planned on your calendar. If you do not log the workout as completed within 48 hours of the date passing, the system will automatically change the workout to missed. If you did complete the workout but just didn’t have time to log into your calendar, you can always go back and enter your data for a missed workout, changing the status to complete.

This is an easy color-coded system to see if you are staying on track with just a glance at your calendar.
