Please note that you cannot write a reply to an email notification. You must follow the link in the email to the discussion and post your reply in the community.
Your default account settings are set to automatically email you when someone replies to a discussion that you created or participated in. Some folks find these notifications overwhelming to their email inbox and have asked for help in changing the settings. If you want to change your settings and turn off notifications, then follow these steps:
To change your settings:
Sign in
Go to you My Active profile
Click on the Community tab
Click on Edit notification preferences
Change Always subscribe via email to threads I create from Yes to No
Change Always subscribe via email to threads I reply to from Yes to No
Click Save at the bottom
Delete your current subscriptions:
Sign in
Go to you My Active profile
Click on the Email Notifications tab
Select the box next to the thread you wish to delete notification for
Click Remove Selected Notifications button at the bottom
