What is necessary to be a college student-athlete?

Hello!

 

I'm from europe. Portugal.

I would like to know how the selection of players is made to join the various teams that play college basketball...

What do i need to do and what is necessary to be a college student-athlete? Do i need do concur to a vacancy? Do i need to go make a practice?

(I know that my english is not very good so it is likely that you find errors.)

    Hello afbasket9! Thanks god i found your thread. I was about to post one with the same objective.

     

    I would like to know, as here our Portuguese friend does, what is necessary for a player, specially for a foreign one, to be recruited by an American College.

     

    In July i'm travelling to Boston to improve my english, and i think that will be a good oportunity to be seen, and be judged about my basketball skills.

     

    I'm from Argentina, 6'3" and 162 pounds.

    heey. me 2 i am an foreign player and wanted to get noticed in USA colleges. i am from seventh grade and 13 years and 5'7 and 107 pounds. is it possible to send videos to the universities to shoe them my talent in a game? i am from honduras and have good  grades and a very good english
