I posted this same question on the Little League board, but I figure it will be seen by more over here.

I am asking this question for a friend that is a coach of a Coach Pitch team and he has consulted in me and I truely do not know the answer as I do not deal with the Coach Pitch level.  Are there official Coach Pitch Rules or is this regulated by the local league?  I have tried to find it within the rule book and have found blurbs here and there on different rules regarding minor league but I do believe these parts are not referring to coach pitch.  Is there anywhere that has just coach pitch rules spelled out?  If it matters his son is 7.  I am trying to find a correct answer for him.  He claims that it is almost as if each game there is a different set of rules that they play by.
