I live in Southern California & am somewhat new to the ins & outs of Club Soccer. We have a tremendous group of u11 kids and amazing families. We have just finished playing in the JUSA u12 Spring League where our Signature team went undefeated on the way to the Championship.
The Coaches want a bigger challenge for the boys. aka: Club soccer, which the boys/families will be split up & the cost is $1500 per child. (yikes)
Here's where my background comes in..........
I am from the world of Baseball where you can recruit and build a team on your own. This is a "Travel Team" and you are more or less on your own to get practice fields, equipment, register for Tournaments or Friendlys, etc. Does this "world" exist in soccer? If so I would love to hear any and all tips/advice that you would kindly heap my way.
