I am new to running (running for the past couple of months). I went yesterday to a runners store and was fit for a new pair of shoes after they analyzed my gait (Nike Structure 14). This morning I went running and now the outer part of my left foot hurts. As anyone else experienced this type of pain with new shoes? I appreciate any advice you all have!
I'm in my third pair of shoes, lol. Started out in some old New Balance 993's, then went to a store and he sold me on some Mizuno's that supposedly would be perfect for me. Initially they were, but my feet and knees began to hurt. Went to a different place and he suggested a shoe with a little more cushion. Now I run in Nike Pegasus and the foot pain is gone and the knees get a little sore after my runs, but is gone by the next day.
