Endurance sports are great for the personal challenge but mostly come down to you overcoming pain and trudging on. Team sports are great for the competitive spirit where your teammates are counting on you to perform. For me, I live for the adrenaline rush. Other than running and the fitness sports, for excitement I used to compete slalom water skiing, go wakeboarding, rock climbing and I want to get into kite-boarding. What sports do others do for the rush?
