It is far too easy to overeat as a result of exercise. If one runs just 2 or 3 miles they'll get thirsty and likely hungry. Taking in some Gatorade to replenish electrolytes and a sandwich to satisfy the extra hunger will amount to a lot more than the 200 or 300 calories the exercise burned. This doesn't even account for a pre-run snack that may be needed for energy. What to do?
