just practice your shot a lot and take a lot of jump shots. make sure you get a lot of elevation and follow through. just practice the fundamentals and you'll be fine
i'm 5'9 10th grade and need to improve my vertical and ball handels can you help me?

Well i am your height to and i go through the same thing but my coach tells me to do form shooting where you go from block to block shooting one handed with your dominant hand and then back up and the start doing a one two step and then shoot with two hands that may help.
go to youtube.com and type in jump manual do these workouts and you will improve
Take at least 100 shots a day 4 - 5 times a week keep your elbows in snap your wrist and get your legs under you. Do not fade on your shot in practice too many players fade away when there is no need. If you can't swing your arms up without the defenders hand touching the ball you should be going to the basket or making a move for a dufferent shot.
Practice making moves for shots,
