I have been having terrible pain for months from tendonitis in my Achilles. Recently a client suggested acupuncture. I have made an appointment for an evaluation but want to hear from someone who has actually used this as a form of treatment.
Thanks in advance!!
I have not but I am seriously considering doing it. I've been dealing with AT for 2 years now. Today, as I sit here and type this I am wearing a custom boot that limits the bend of the ankle and immobilizes the Achilles. It is helping. I do take it off to exercise as I must walk the dog and do something for me. I understand this will lengthen my recovery time. Right now I'm pretty darned desperate.
If you do it, please let me know how it works for you.

I can't come in last because I am ahead of those who didn't start!
I'll let you know how it goes. I had my first needles last week. That was to clear my Chi. Actually made an appointment with my doctor for Thursday because of the termendous pain I had hiking over the weekend. It is really getting on my nerves!!
I haven't, but that's a great idea. I'm going to look into it, too. Please post some follow-ups, I'd love to know how this works for you. My husband had accupunture for back pain and it cleared it up in one treatment.
I'm going to try KT tape, too:
