PAC 10 Meets Big 12 Pitching/Catching Camps

Bringing the PAC 10 conference to Texas!! You’ve seen University of Arizona in the Women’s College World Series year in and year out, and now University of Arizona Wildcat, Callista Balko, is bringing her expertise to the Houston area.  Arizona native, Balko and Texas A&M graduate, Amanda Scarborough aim to make your catcher or pitcher better on the mound or behind the plate.  Coached under the helm of arguably the best coach in softball, Mike Candrea, Balko was mentored and coached by him for four years at UA.  We will have two four-hour sessions for most age groups at a cost of $75 per player.   The most important relationship on the field is between the pitcher and the catcher on the team.  This camp will offer time to hone your individual catching and pitching skills, as well as “battery” time where the pitching/catching battery learn new ways to work together, communicate and truly work as one unit.

The two coaches will also offer a hitting camp on Friday, August 12 at Friendswood with intermediate and advanced sessions.  If you sign up for hitting/pitching/catching in the Friendswood camps you can receive a discount for buying both camps at $110.
