Choosing music for running is a worthwhile time investment. Right music can keep you focused and even inspire you to continue running. Music is also has a proven track record of picking you up when you are down.
No the question is, "What's the best or good running music?"
I hope you won't mind sharing your experience!
This has come up before, and there's at least one very long thread out there with a huge list of songs. Of course, it's pretty personal so what works for one might not work for another. I running music choice was to start an AC/DC channel on Pandora, and listen to it at my PC, so I can up and down vote sonts. Kinda hard to do that while running. So it's mostly fast tempo hard rock/metal. Works for me. I tried making up my own playlist of songs, but I like having the wider variety and surprise.
The only downside is that it seems like whenever I'm trying to do a slow cool down mile, something like Black Betty will come on, and I'm back to sprinting.

The absolute best music for running comes from the run2rhythm website called www.run2r.com.
This has specially composed music at different cadences (Beats per Minute) that relate to your running speed. I have used it for 4 years now.
Excellent technical info as well. All the best DaveR
