Military Challenge Complete!
finished in 1:05 - had a few obstacles where you had to wait for people to climb over ,crawl through, etc. but what a blast.
Now I'm just focusing on getting my distance built up for the half-marathon next month (September 4).
I'm hoping to finish in 3.5 hours, running more than I walk.
I've been increasing my distance each week - I'm up to 14 miles for the week, with tomorrow being my "long run" of 5 miles (3.5 miles done today, so I'll finish the distance tomorrow)
Still considering repeating some days of the week 5 run during the week with the long run on the weekend just to get my pace back on target. Last week I did 4.5 miles in an hour, so I'm thinking I'll shoot for 5 miles in 1.5 hours (legs feel sore right now).
Signed up for a 10K as well in October.
July done - been running for 2.5 months now - can't believe how much I can do. What will my posts say in another 2.5 months
Military Challenge (3.5 miles/obstacles) - 7/30 - ran/jumped over hurdles haha/walked - 64:55
