Does anyone just ride the Lighthouse Century without registering? Like locals...Only because it sells out in like 5 minutes. I have 3 friends riding in it that registered and paid. They want me to join them but I'm not sure if I can or should or will get in trouble if I do from the organizer.

I live in Solvang and do the organized rides here and never register/pay. We just ride the route the day of. We never run into any problem. You just forgo a number, road assistance and whatever lame gift they decide to give you. Not sure if this ride is similar....Please advise me.
