I must be confused as to what age bracket the Diamond Jaxx participate. I've looked at the 2011 USSSA World Series results for 12u a, 12u b, 14u a and 14u b but I don't see the Diamond Jaxx listed as placing 3rd.
We will be 14U beginning this fall as noted in the post and on our site. Sorry about the confusion. Regarding your specific question, that was a typo (thank you for sending the note). It was 2010. This is reflected correctly on our team website (link in the post) and has been updated in the body of the post.
If you have any other questions about the team, please contact me at 615.477.6160. We hope to be able to meet your daughter and you at our tryouts on August 20th and 21st.
Thank you for clarifying which World Series the Jaxx participated in. And I see from your website that they competed in the 11u World Series in 2010 when they took 3rd place. I've often wondered why more teams don't take advantage of the odd year tournaments and I'm sure your girls were very disappointed when only 12 other teams participated.
The rest of your website is most impressive. I did notice, however, that you mentioned dismantling the Crieve Hall Katz in the tournament in Mt. Juliet by winning 14 to 1. The only Crieve Hall Katz team I know of is a rec league team from Nashville.
Surely you don't mean to imply that a team playing a/b ball with plans to persue an ASA berth next year feels a need to dominate a rec league team that was playing out of their league.
I just want to make sure that the organizations I let my daughter be a part of hold themselves to a high moral code.
If you run across any 99 players that are looking for a team please let us know. We are looking to add 3 during this Fall season. Good Luck to yall and hope to see at the part.

I appreciate you policing the softball world to help ensure a high moral code. That is a priority of our families too. As it appears that you have travel softball experience with your daughter, you know that it is common for All-Star/Rec. teams to partipate in tournament events after their rec. seasons end. The tournament where the game you reference took place was an open tournament. The Katz competed hard and did a good job over that whole weekend.
The website is meant to be fun specifically for the families and girls on the team and to also to give general information for surfers interested in learning about the team. If anything you read insulted you or struck a nerve, I apologize.
Like I said before, if you have any other questions or comments, I encourage you to call me. This is often not the most efficient vehicle to answer questions so I would happily take time with you to discuss softball, the direction of our team, and anything else on your mind. We hope to meet you at our tryouts and hope your team search is successful. Thanks for your continued interest in the Jaxx.
Will do, Coach.
I hope all is well with you. Good luck to you guys.
SoftballMom247, you have me confused as to your intention of this post. If you are interested in this team - then attend a tryout. If you don't agree with something - don't attend. There are many softball teams in this age group in middle Tennessee. Posting this just to 'throw dirt' on another team seems a bit hypocritical and not following the high moral code you are searching.
