Re: favorite running song?
I just put together a playlist of songs with 90 BPM to help me with my cadence and the theme song from "The Sopranos" is such a good one!

Re: favorite running song?
I don't know who sings it, but that song, "She's going the distance, going for speeeed" always gets me focused and reminds me to just move my legs a little longer and longer until I cross the finish line.
Also, I'm a country girl so I turn the radio to a station that plays older country (I love Dolly Parton's "why'd ya come in here?") so I can sing along, well, sing in my head anyway. So maybe you could pick out any nostalgic station and you never know when an "oldy but goody" will pop up and get your mind off the knee pain!

AC/DC's "You shook me all night long"

Gotta love the lyrics:

She was a fast machine, she kept the motor clean,
She was the best **** woman that I'd ever seen!
She had the sightless eyes, tellin' me no lie,
Knockin' me out with those American thighs!

"Born Slippy" is a GREAT song! Have you tried their song "Cowgirl"?

Re: favorite running song?
I second Christina Aquilera's "Fighter"

My other favorites (I can't pick just one) are:
BT - "Running Down The Way Up"
BT - "Never Gonna Come Back Down"
Rob Thomas - "This is How a Heart Breaks"
Eminem - "Til I Collapse"
