I just race 14km 3 days ago, pretty hard for me. ( 59.x mins ) In 4 days time i doing a mara ( again, looking to go hard for me - 3:15 is the target), and looking for thoughts on effect of recovery foods ( high protein ) might have on the taper/cabr loading process I am about to begin?
Will there be any impact of the high protein of late on the absortion and processing of carbs? What have you done in the past?
