OAR - That was a crazy game of poker - Live at MSG  <- LOVE THIS, "Dont you ever ever quit, dont ever stop, dont give a sh*t, cause you got the drop..." - Got me through my 1st 5k, but its 18 mins long

OAR - About an hour ago <- love this too "I know I can make it, f*ck it I know I can make it if I try..." Def helped me will my legs to just keep moving yesterday during the final 1/2 mile...

Chevelle - Vitamin R <- Makes regular apperances

Chevelle - Send the pain below <- Also makes regular apperances

Chevelle - Jars <- New to this weeks playlist

Chevelle - Letter from a thief <- New to this weeks playlist

Pink - Just like a Pill

    Dre/Eminem - I need a doctor

Eminem - Love the way you lie

Start slow, that's my race strategy too!

I have made some good additions to my playlist from this thread.  I'm really loving "Dog Days Are Over" by Florence + the Machine, but for some reason, every time I go out and run to it, I want to come home and buy an iPad 2!  Play the video and listen to the music.

I may not be good, but I'm slow!

    Re: Top 3 Running songs

My very first post here in the forum.  How appropriate.

As someone mentioned already # 1 for me will always be "Pump It" by the B.E.P. (and for my first 1/2 marathon last year my entire playlist was all B.E.P.)

    # 2: "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World (this is a girls song)

    # 3 "Run Like Hell" Pink Floyd (this is especially fun to listen to for night runs)

    Looking forward to this:

And as someone else posted, I also found Marine Corps cadence on Amazon and downloaded them onto my mp3, which is funny cause I was active duty Army for 4 years but am right now liking the sound of the Marine Corp cadence better for some reason.
