Re: Cellulite Appreciation Thread
Age helps. Loving what your body can do, instead of what it looks like also helps.

I have come to an acceptance of my cellulite. OK, it's not love but I don't hate walking around in a swimsuit anymore.

Re: Cellulite Appreciation Thread
I have acceptance for the fact that I am an athlete. But I will never be one of those athletes thats all muscle no fat (not that dedicated to anything). A down side to being athletic (if my goal were to be a stick) is that I bulk up. If i just ran and did pilates I could slim down I think, but my love (and my thighs and my butt) is in cycling and that keeps me thick. Cellulite is part of that cushy goodness that sets my legs apart from say Lance Armstrong. He can keep the Tour de France titles and I'll keep my booty.

It hasn't taken me very long to get over my cellulite issues. Dropping 80 pounds can help you appreciate your less than perfect body rather easily. Now, genetically cursed breasts is a whole different ball game.

calvin97haley, cupid34,

Yes my comments are for real! Some cellulite on the upper legs on a woman with shorts is very sexy to me! Think of it as an unspoken truth!

Guess its sort of the way some men ahem, prefer small breasts too.
Not everyone goes for stick thin model types with big boobs!!!

Re: Cellulite Appreciation Thread
So I shared this conversation with my husband and apparently he does not feel the same way but he isn't complaining about how I look, of course he knows better. I do have a skinny friend who kind of makes me feel like I'm built like a bull dog as she is more grey hound. Anyways last night a guy told her that she was too skinny and that that wasn't attractive. By the way the guy is a stick.

I love my cellulite.

Well I do prefer curves on a woman. And a little cellulite on the legs looks very sexy. Wait, I said that already!

Re: Cellulite Appreciation Thread
Let me throw in my affirmation - ain't nothing wrong with curves and/or cellulite on a woman.

My last couple of relationships have been with "curvier" women, and if the chemistry's right, why not?

Joescool,Mmoonhead,
Okay so now there are two.I still don't get it guys, want to believe you both but still don't think sexy can describe cellulite.I do agree that curvy is sexy and small breasts can be kinda cute.Sorry Joe can't post a picture as I have not yet figured out how to get the pic from my camera to my computer-will work on that. Re: Cellulite Appreciation Thread
You guys/gals just made me feel 100xs better! All the darn pics in magazines and the media of frail starving girls make me sick! LOL I'll gladly take my healthy curves!

Re: Cellulite Appreciation Thread
Not to interrupt all the "socializing" going on here, but I have a rather unique use for cellulite. I wear an insulin pump and it's easier to insert the infusion sets where I have a little something other than muscle. The infustion sets are sort of like an IV, but it goes into fat tissue instead of a vein. Don't want to gross anyone out, but it really has made me appreciate my fat.
