How much do you practice?

Basically I want to know your age, maybe your position and how many hours you practice. (A day or a week.)
I'll start.
I am 13 going to be 14 this September. I play center or power forward and I'm 5'11". I try to practice at least an hour a day but usually practice for about 2 hours outside on the court. (Shooting, conditioning, dribbling and around the basket moves). Then I come home get some rest maybe do some shoting or ball handling drills while watching TV. (Usually for about another 2 hours a day). Then three times a week in the evening I go out and run for about 1.5-3 miles. (Depends on how I feel). Since cross-country season is starting I might have to run more but I will still practice for at least 1 hour a day.
So that would be 1-4 hours a day of pure practice.
Or 7-28 hours a week of pure practice.
This thread is purely informational and I think it would be interesting to see how much other people on here practice. ![]()
I am 14 and im goin 2 9th grade. I play point guard nd im 5'6. here is a vid of me balling http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPIeOwHU8pA
Man you got game. Nice handles. Pretty fast too. The vid would be better if you made it with footage from your school tea games cuz it looks more official. Playground games don't really define how someone plays.

I am 16 going 17 in December, I play Small Forward and I practice 7 days a week with my team for 2 hours a day + I am practicing home for another 2 hours (6 hours on weekends) and I wake up at 5:30 in the morning to run for stamina, then I do some weight training + vertical jump training. (5:30 in the morning is for summer, when there's school I usually run at 7 in the evening).
i'm 12, 5'2, an all out guard(any position sg or pg) and I practice about 2 to 3 hours a day on a normal day. so usually about 16 hours a week. sometimes more. i work on shooting, handles, rebounding, vertical, and post moves though i'm a guard.
"I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."-Michael Jordan
I am 12yrs old I am 5-2 and I play point gaurd. I practice nearly every day from the time i come home till the time the street lights are on.I do alot of ballhandling drills witch includes 2balls running up and down the street switching hands. I am also the leader of the new 2011 Raleigh Egypt Pharoahs. I also apart of the championsship winning Oak Grove Hawks.
I'm 14 turning 15 y/o at the end of September and I'm 173 cm tall and I'm a point guard.
During summer I go on public basketball court everyday and I spend 2-3 hours there and I play many scrimmages with my mates... But from middle September to beginning of June I can't go to the court everyday cause I have to study for school, so I practice with my team on Wednesday and on Friday for about 2 hours and then on Sunday I usually play the championship matches. Reading your posts now I know that my team and I practice less than you. This is just because I live in Italy, so workouts are very different.
Im going to be fourteen in 2 days, im 5'10 and i play forward. I practice from anywhere between 4 and six hours a day. I wake up at 6:30 and play for an hour until my school starts. I play during our brakes and then practice for a few hours after school ends. Im trying to be as good as i possibly can because i want to do well in highschool next year.
