    Re: 100 Day Challenge

Monday - another 43 mile bike ride - different route.  It was not as cold as they predicted - 45 at the start and 55 by the time the ride was over.  There was definitely a strong wind out of the north, and unfortunately the last 5 miles was into the wind.  Really was feeling the effort by the time I was done.

    Re: 100 Day Challenge

Saturday, off to MI...with the drive most of the day, etc I didn't plan to get in much activity, but was pleasantly surprised to have my Aunt and cousin want to trek off to a fair on foot...along w/ my cousin's 5 kids!  so, pushing strollers and a wagon, i would say it was about a 1-2 miles trek round trip....

Sunday, got in about 30 minutes walk and run outside

Monday, ran about 45 minutes outside.

All in all, i did some activity, not as much as i'd like to, but better than nothing.  I like being back in my routine!

    100 Day Challenge

Tuesday - 26 mile bike ride in the evening.  It was dark before we got back.  We had good lights on our bikes and were on a trail, so at least we didn't have to worry about cars.  Had to keep a watchful eye for deer though.

    Wednesday - 45 minutes PT

Thursday - 21 mile ride with the ladies group from one of the bike shops in our area.  Lots of fun.

Friday - 25 mile bike ride.

Saturday - one hour of hiking at a state park checking out the cross-country ski trails, and an 8 mile bike ride.

Sunday - 47 mile bike ride, early in the morning, low ground fog still hanging in the air, rode past a calm and peaceful lake with two fisherman standing in a boat and a light fog floating a few feet above the water - so beautiful!

    Have a good week everyone.

Went to the YMCA and used the ellilpitical for 20 minutes and took part in a fitness class, rode the bike to work, over to the YMCA and back to my apt so think I got 3+ - 4 miles on the bike.  Wonderful weather, I wish I was outside running - soon, sooon,

    100 Day Challenge

PL - PT can be quite time consuming, but as you have indicated, the payoff are well worth it.

Red - sorry your toe continues to bother you, but good for you for staying active.  The Y in our area has some good classes and the elipitical and other equipment in the cardio room are great for keeping up your aerobic capacity.  Does your Y offer water running/walking?  You might find that very beneficial for keeping up your running muscles while your toe heals.

    Monday - PT

Tuesday - 45 minute spin class and 22 mile bike ride

Wednesday - 45 minute spin class and one hour yoga

Thursday - 18 mile bike ride.  It's getting dark earlier every day.  I think the Thursday night bike shop rides are over the end of this month.

I need to find a strength class that I like that fits my schedule.  We did so many jumps in spin class, and so many planks in yoga that my upper arms are really sore today.  I need to work on that.
