should i score this much being a pg?

hey i'm 14 and i live in belguim

i play pg and i'm the leader and best player on my team

i usually have about 18 points (leads team) 5 assists (leads team) 3 rebouns and 1 to

being a pg shouldnt i average LESS points and MORE assists?

no you should score that much if your helping your team win.but you can score that much and get your assist up.

You can score, and if it's working, that's great. But, as a PG, you always have the ball. You should think to set up your teammates first and then get yours. I say, for half the quarter, being a pass-first PG. If you have a mismatch on offense, attack it. Just balance it well so chemistry is good and your teammates can find a rhythm to help you contribute.

I would say that you could try getting your assists up a little bit, but for someone your age 5 is probably enough. It also depends on what your team needs. If you guys are down and need a few quick buckets go for the score, but if you guys have a comfertable lead or its early in the game, try and set your teamates up for buckets and make them look good.

i think your points are great but your assist need to go up and your turnover rate is great.
