28 Sept - Wednesday

5.5 miles today -- I did kinda of a fartlek session today. Having been off so many days last week I want to do both speed work and some regular running. So I combined the two today.


Completely enjoyable run.

    5 x 4 minutes uptempo, 2 minutes recovery; off to St George tomorrow, thanks to the lottery;  the temps look hot and my running isn't, but the course is beautiful and the event is great

    Immer, good luck with St. George, I am sure it is beautiful.  A good friend did the Iron Man  their last year was her 5th and was the slowest by about 2 hours.  


    My last workout before Wineglass, 2 mile warm then 4 X 100 suppose to be @ 1:50 ran around 1:47.  Workout felt okay, not great.  I was hoping for great!  It was very humid and hot.

    Have fun at St. George, Immer. 


    I ran a very sluugish 3 miles on Wednesday.  I'm not positive what's going on but I think it's the Claritin I've been taking.  A couple years ago I took Claritin for a couple weeks and had the same problem - tired legs.
