Well I think this worked - inspiration+motivation!
Week 10 is here.

Thanks everyone for your stories, trials and tribulations. I started this challenge at 148lbs and I'm now at 142lbs. I feel fantastic, my clothes are starting to fit loose, and best of all, I'm loving my running more than ever.

I'm still running 5 days/wk between 45-55mins slow and steady and I feel I'm making great progess. My goal weight is still a ways off - 135lbs, but spring is coming.

Best of luck to all of you!!!

Week 10...165.5lbs. So I was not successful in losing 10 lbs in 10 weeks, but I'll settle for 8.5 with an injury.

Thanks for all of the motivation here...

Week 10 finds me stuck at 150.. Only lost a total of 2 and 3/4 pounds since we started.. But hay that's ok with me at least I didn't gain any.. I will be going on.. My new goal date is April 14 the day we leave for Boston (husband running the Boston Marathon) ..
Moosechaser and ny1911 congrats on your loses... Keep up the great work.. You are my inspiration.. Thanks..
