I think someone is trolling for a Good Beer vs. NASCAR Beer discussion/fight.

I think we've done that to death.

5) All archival questions must be submitted to me, since I own the archives.

Aren't they just opposites?

Like flammable and inflammable (I'll let the NASCAR fans sort that one out--but then again isn't their slogan "what goes around, comes around'.

Could I add <ahem>

6. Regular participation in Beer Thread discussions is optional.

?

Maybe "sometimes optional"?

LT - you wrote me an email a while back that I'm afraid got lost in the fray that was/is my life. I never answered it, and I apologize. However, if it's any consolation I have been successfully telling your knock-knock joke to dozens of people - and giving you due credit.

6a) The definition of "regular" is up to the individual ... your results may vary.

Just out lurking and couldn't resist jumping in....I have a friend who, for years, thought beer came in three packs.....because every night her Dad would pick up a 6-pack after work, and by the time he commuted home, he'd walk in the door carrying a 3-pack on the plastic 6-pack holder.

If it was MY dad, that would have been a zero-pack.

...the beer equivalent of socks.
I got a bottle of Deus (Belgian beer brewed with Champagne yeast and then aged in caves in France) from the wife. Good stuff, and I'm glad to have tried it, but not quite worth the $25 she paid for it. At least not again. Maybe one day when I'm bloody rich...

I also got socks.

Socks don't usually come with a shot of Wild Turkey. Nor are they very often delivered by a 97.8% naked 22 year-old "law student."

Socks do, however, frequently have dollar bills stuffed into their drawers as well.
