Aren't they just opposites?

Just out lurking and couldn't resist jumping in....I have a friend who, for years, thought beer came in three packs.....because every night her Dad would pick up a 6-pack after work, and by the time he commuted home, he'd walk in the door carrying a 3-pack on the plastic 6-pack holder.

At least you can recall who told you that joke - I forget where I got it from.

Well I am about to start my first solo batch of brew. A partial mash Brown Ale. As always - if it turns out you are all welcome to some - if it doesn't, well then you can have evn more. My brew line-up for today is starting with the Pogues, then some Joy Division and if there is any time left - maybe Allison Krauss.

I will resend the e-mail when I am at work next week.

I got a bottle of Deus (Belgian beer brewed with Champagne yeast and then aged in caves in France) from the wife. Good stuff, and I'm glad to have tried it, but not quite worth the $25 she paid for it. At least not again. Maybe one day when I'm bloody rich...

I also got socks.

Socks don't usually come with a shot of Wild Turkey. Nor are they very often delivered by a 97.8% naked 22 year-old "law student."

Socks do, however, frequently have dollar bills stuffed into their drawers as well.
