Congratulations on your first 5K! How did it go? I ran my first in October, and have run 2 others. My 4th will be next weekend. I am not worried about my time (although I would like to finish as well as, or better, than previous runs). I just look at it as the acomplishment. I went from wanting to die after running 60 seconds to running a 5K in the 32 minute range. I am still a bit overweight, but I know that I am doing something to make myself healthier. I am training to do my first 10K in March. Good luck, and be proud of your accompishment!
