I have walked two half marathons and am just starting training for a half that's coming up soon. I'd like to try my hand at an intro version of a walk/run with about 1 min walk/4 or 5 min run pace. What is a good/easy device to use to keep me awake for the pace change? thanks. Susan
If you use an iPOD they offer free exercise poscasts that have techno/dance music that varies in beats over time. Every few minutes the beat of the music changes pace including cool downs at the end. Might not be exactly what you wanted but it works. Also....download and create your own custom music list with songs that may match your pace as needed.
