We have a very strong core group with room for a couple of special girls to make the team better.  All positions are open to be earned.  With strong emphisis on catcher.

Our goal this year is to qualify early for the ASA Nationals as we have in the past and attend as many exposure tournaments as possible.

If you want the exposure of playing in the 2012 ASA Nationals, this is the team for you.

Most of our local tournaments are 18u in preparation for the nationals and the top exposure tournaments.

We have been accepted to the "T/C USA Nationals in New York City" and "The Louisville Slugger Tournament in Boulder, Co".

The Houston Power Organization has a great record of getting its student athelets substantial scholarships to top colleges.

THE VISION OF THE HOUSTON POWER

The vision of the Houston Power is to provide opportunities for female scholar athletes who have the desire to play softball at the collegiate level.  we are a nationally recognized girls fastpitch softball organization which promotes female athletes, physically trained and mentally conditioned to enter the collegiate arena as a means of obtaining a college education.  We also believe strongly in serving those less fortunate through community projects, having our priorities in order, God, Family, School and Softball.  We believe that our players can take these qualities and apply them to their everyday lives and make a positive impact on our world.
