i'll hop on board, too. i dont really need to lose weight, but weekends (a lot of down-time for me when I should be studying) usually end up a downfall!

I'm in as well. I'm brutal for blowing it on the weekends. This thread will hopefully keep me accountable.

I'll give it a shot too, but heck, I'm going to be embarassed about what I post for weekend eating!

Like the rest of you, I can do great during the week, but I fall apart come Friday night.

And hey to you Yankee from up north, KittyKatRunner

Re: The official 'say 'No' to weekend binges' thread
I was wondering if y'all would also like to share questions, ect that we may have. Aside from just posting what I indulge or don't indulge in I thought it would be nice to try to help each other through our struggles or give any advice if we can help about nutrition/exercise, ect. Does that sound cool?

Re: The official 'say 'No' to weekend binges' thread
Count me in... I need some accountability. The past week I have just been SO HUNGRY and feel like I'm eating uncontrollable amounts. I wish I could say it is all mental, but my stomach is seriously signaling hunger all of the time. I'd really like to drop 15 pounds, but caloric defecits always make my training fall flat... any advice?

Count me in too!!!

Writing it all down and knowing I have to see it all in writing might make me think twice about what I eat!!

Re: The official 'say 'No' to weekend binges' thread
I agree that rewarding yourself with food leads to some overindulgences. I do the same thing. I guess I try to reward myself in other ways and wait till I'm really craving something that I normally don't eat before I "reward" myself with it. I usually try to use my craving to sort of partake in a project of how I can make the food that I'm craving healthier, still indulge to satisfy the craving, but feel MUCH better afterwards. I made a healthy rendition of chicken pot pie this week with phyllo dough and low-fat ingredients to satisfy my craving for comfort food. I was very proud for not opting for that ultra-fatty and non-nutritious Sara Lee version staring at me through the grocer's freezer, haha.

Fragileknees- I often get injured and starving when I increase my training. As I'm sure you know, the best things to do for increasing energy is to eat lots of good protein and complex carbohydrates before and after a good workout. Make sure you eat enough though. When you consume too few calories, your performance will suffer, you'll get injured, and weight loss becomes even more difficult. I'm sure you know all this though, nothing new.

Re: The official 'say 'No' to weekend binges' thread
I'm in...I'm currently doing WW and my DH and I go on "date night" with 2 other couples every Friday night. It's really hard to keep it together when you're out with friends and they're eating all kinds of yummy stuff. Of course I used to eat junk every date night too but since DS #2 was born 3 weeks ago I've definately got to watch it. I'll check in tomorrow.
Good luck everyone!!

Re: The official 'say 'No' to weekend binges' thread
its firday! and that means that the weekend is about to start! is everybody ready for this? where do people think they will have issues this weekend? knowing when you'll be the weakest helps you prepare to "not take the plunge" into th sweets. I have a date on saturday...going mini golfing and then out to eat. Im thinking salad will be the way to go.
