This was a very fast and easy course.  There were a few tiny up and down hill paths but nothing to write home about.  The Metropark did a great job of salting and plowing to make sure the path was free of snow and ice.  I would've liked if the walkers didn't start at the same time as the runners.  They also could've used a bigger tent or more tents.  It's difficult to pack 700 freezing people into one heated area.  Loved the hot chocolate after the race.  Wish there was a vegetarian option for the soup.  Overall it was a fun little morning race in the dead of winter
