It was cold in 2010 when I ran.  29 degrees.  I have run 50 Half Marathons since and this race is still my PR.  Excellent Course. Fast and Flat. Finishers medal design has been the same 2009-2011 with just different color bands (date is on  band). Look for a new design in 2012.  Highly recommend.

I ran the inaugural half in 2008 but have run the full every year since.  The course is very flat and fast.  The race takes you through several areas of the city: downtown, Mass Ave, Broad Ripple, Butler, Indianapolis Museum of Art, and back downtown.  I've BQ'd and have consistently set new PRs during this race.  While the crowds may be a bit spartan the people you do see are very enthusiastic and excited to have an event like the IMM in their backyard.  I will definitely continue to run this event for as long as I am able!
