Training for a 25k trail race in July. Going back to vanquish a demon on this one - finished last in my age class 2 yrs ago. Made some mistakes in training - not enough hill & heat training. Also, I trained for it like a 1/2Mar. - big mistake - couldn't gut out the last 2+ miles.
Coming back this year smarter, lighter and with some hilly training routes ready to go. Anybody have an idea on how to modify a marathon or 1/2 marathon plan to suit this race? Is there a pre - planned 25k taining plan out there? - Trailtrekker
