very slow pace and food intake
In another post, I read a comment about the original poster's "very slow pace". First, of all, I believe that (race) pace is not something that can be controled by food intake. Second, I do not believe it's cool to use someone's pace to discredit their statements here, regardless of whether the statement is something you agree with or not. Third, some people run for fitness, and not for speed or competition, and yes, those people enter races, too. I personally do not think it's necessary to judge on their effort.
But the statement raised an issue that I am interested in: Is there a food that can make one faster? I may be wrong in my belief that there is no such food.
I am NOT asking whether there is a food that is more appropriate for aerobic exercise, to which we all know the classic answer.
