Padres at Dodgers this afternoon.  T9, no outs, R1, R2.  Inside pitch to Guzman hits the bat and probably rolls fair.  The PU sure looks like he signaled foul.  He has his arms up the whole time and then comes up with a definite "Foul" before then signaling Fair.  The initial "foul" call fooled everybody.  Vin Scully, the Padres announcers, and all of the base runners.  I guess there was no verbal because F2 reacted as if the ball was fair and the Dodgers ended up turning a triple play.

Now, it sure looked like a "foul" call to me.  Would this be protestable?  I don't think one was lodged, but is sure looks like it was a foul turned fair.  To be fair to the PU, his hands may have been up because he was trying to avoid F2, the Batter, and trying to find the ball, but pretty much everybody interpreted the motions as foul ball.
