Overall a very fun race on a great campus! Would have liked a tech T rather than a T shirt for running. The course was challenging and the steps threw something at you that I didn't expect. I placed in the race and was dissappointed with the prizes that were given out. It was almost as if they pulled crap out of the closet. I think for the cost of the race and the low budget offerings, medals and tech shirts should have been given out. Did a personal best so I was pleased, just wish I could remember it better with an adequate prize. Not sure I would do this again.
I had a good time running this event for the first time and was glad to see such a healthy turnout. It is a good 5k to shake of the winter rust. I'll keep it as one of my yearly races from now on along with the Nate Brukenthal 5k, Harbor Tunnel Run 5k, and 9/11 Run to Remember.
I enjoyed the run overall! The campus was beautiful and the supporters were great! It would have been nice to get a technical Tshirt instead of the regular Tshirt, but I think it was a good experience overall. And, I'd definitely do it again!!!
Had a lot of fun. The low rating is because there were no water stations on the route. By the end of mile 2, I was dying for a drink. Also, the course was not stroller-friendly this year.
