This is my half marathon training schedule I used to get ready for my first 1/2 marathon. This was developed with the help of my running club and my personal trainer. Worked very well and have completed two 1/2 marathons. Now I am training for a full marathon.
Feel free to use but do publish yourself.
Thank you, I will take a look at this. I registered for my first half marathon which is in April 2010.
If you say you can't, you're right.

Thanks for sharing your training schedule! I have been following Hal Higdon's Novice Half Marathon schedule for about two months, with a goal to run my first half in mid April. I keep feeling like I'm not training hard enough because Higdon's schedule seems fairly approachable, so it helps to see how someone else is training with the help of a coach. I may blend some of yours with Hal's.
Thanks again!

Yes, thank you posting this. I followed a schedule last year that had me running several times a week with no cross-training. Result, over-training that ended with shin splints... 1/2 marathon deferred to May 2010. I like your approach to cross-training and core strengthening.

Thanks for posting this! I ran my first half back in November but I haven't been running regularly since. So I'll use this to train for my September one.
