Well organized event. Friendly staff and volunteers. Loved the free Gu. I would highly recommend this event. Course is tough but very beautiful.
Very well organized. Plenty of water and free Gu. Fabulous volunteers. The most beautiful run I have ever participated in. I will invite all our local runners next year. This was definitely worth a 5 star!!!! Thank you for an outstanding event.
What a great race. It is a tough course because of all the hills but such a beautiful course. The event is so well organized and plenty of water, powerade, and Gu. I love the wonderful volunteers. I'm a back of the pack runner and there was always plenty left of everything for me.
Very well organized! Lots of aid stations including bananas, oranges, water, power-aid, gu. Fun course. Some ups and downs and arounds. Through beautiful gardens and golf course. Nice to be able to sleep in and not have to ride a shuttle to the start up a canyon. Great volunteers! Cute shirt and finisher medal. Lot's of food for the finish.
This was my first (competitive) half marathon. It was a great place to start. Well organized, well-stocked aid stations, great staff, lots of food after the event. The road construction surrounding the entrance to the event made for some interesting ?maneuvering?, but I?ll be back next year.
Well done! Organized well on every level. Did not run out of encouragement or food for us in the back of the pack!
Awesome event! So well organized. I ran the 5K and my child ran the kids run. Both events went off perfectly. Announcers were entertaining and exciting. Food was great at the end. Medals were fun to get...my son loved that he walked away with something. Results were fast! Loved everything about it. Course was perfect too. Thanks to all the volunteers and those who put it on. We spent the rest of the day using our passes to the gardens and animal park. That was a cool bonus!
Such a beautiful run! I was so amazed at the beauty. It was fun and went by quicklly. The hills were steep but very short so I didn't mind them. Very organized. Lots of food and fun at the end. I want to do it many times.
I loved this half marathon! I'm a slow runner and the past races I've participated in were always out of powerade or GU. Not this race, they were fully stocked! I will most likely participate again next year!
I had a blast! It was well organized, the volunteers were great, and the course couldn't have been prettier. Those hills kicked my butt!
My husband ran the 5k and my kids the fun run. I LOVE that it is a family friendly course and that there is a race for everyone. Thanks again. We will be back!!
It was incredible! So impressed by how well it was planned out and organized! Great job!
Awesome. Very will organized. OUTSTANDING volunteers. Plenty of post race refreshments. However this year they decided to use an independant race timing group that is woefully behind the tech power curve. I have not been able to check my "official" time. UNSAT in todays tech age. I definitely will do it again next year...but will make sure I check the watch since I won't have any information afterwards.
My 21st half marathon and this was the most beautiful course, well organized, good mile markers and good hydration stops. The hills through the golf course were a challenge.
Once again, FANTASTIC RACE!!! Great atmosphere, great aid stations, great volunteers, and medals. My wife and I have run the half-marathon all three years and we love it! The change in scenery and course elevation throughout the whole race sure helps keep the mind and body alert and ready to take on any challenges (HILLS!!). It was cool to see 3 deer bounding down one of the fairways while running. Keep up the great work!!
