Well-organized half-marathon.  Race day bib pickup was a breeze.  Small number of runners meant that it was easy to hit my target pace early on without much weaving.  The race is a bit hilly though since runners cross many bridges.  Aid every 2 miles.

Event was very fun and well organized. Aid stations every 2 miles with water, gel, and bathrooms was nice. Highway running was a little rough on the knees but that's to be expected and we knew the course in advance (so can't really complain). Overall it was fun and I plan on doing it again next year.

It was a great event! Not too big to be overwhelmed. It was the first time I have participated in a Half Marathon and really enjoyed the experience. I will continue to do it every year and will also participate in other Half Marathon as well as some 10K's and 15K's 

I enjoyed the half-marthon.  Aid and water stations every two miles.  Parking was great and volunteers super!  Supporting St Jude made it even better.  I enjoyed the experience!

My first time running the heroes half and I really enjoyed it.   Well-organized and with plenty of aid stations.  Course was nice and flat with only a couple of small hills.  There were a couple of locations where runners crossed paths with the lead runner, but due to the number of participants is wasn't a big deal.  If the  race grows a lot, they may need to reconsider this.  I will definitely plan on running this race again.  Great cause (St. Jude) and great race.

Well organized event with lots of volunteers.  I have been running since 1983, have done a marathon, lots of 10k's and 5k's but this was my 1st half and I loved it.  What a great group of volunteers with so much support along the way.  Definitely a do over.
