Hey Scotty, not sure if you did it right or not but it does not seem out of place. I ran today, a scheduled run but lost track of time and ran over what I normally do. I think they call it "runners bliss!" I started at 6:30am and finished a little past 7:30. I ran asphalt, concrete, and rolling hills.
Last week was spent on the island of Kauai (I know, boo hoo boo hoo) and I only ran one time during the week. Quickly discovered that running at sea level, in dead-flat Florida is a lot different than up and down small hills on the edge of some lava cliffs at 3400 feet in Hawaii. Ugh! Took everything I had to get even 1.5 miles in.
Last night I finally got back to my normal route. Did 3.17 miles in 36:53. That's a 11:36 pace. Did set a PR for a mile, 10:16 in my first mile.
Today's off, and then back to it tomorrow.

I ran ONE mile today.....I know that isn't very far, but that was very hard for me and I am very proud of myself.....
Did I mention that that mile was in a track meet and it was a 4:56 mile? 3 SECOND PR!!!!!!!!!
Thanks! I have been working my [hind-quarters] off for that time, my next step is to go sub 4:55
And Nice work with the headwind, I just ran a 400m ( one lap ) and I had a headwind for the entire race, however that works...I feel your pain, nature is evil sometimes
