Scott CR1 Team or Giant Avail Comp 1 PLEASE ANY SUGGESTIONS WELCOME!

I am new to the bike world. I've been reading up on bikes, test riding more than a handful of different ones and some more than a few times.  I've narrowed it down to either Scott CR1 Team (2200$) or Giant Avail Comp 1 (2400$).   I really enjoyed both rides!  I'm leaning toward the Scott a little bit more, but really can't justify why (maybe because it's not as common of a bike around???).  But I'm kind of talking myself out of it because I feel like if I should go with the Giant because of the Ultegra components (and not that much of a price difference).  Being new to all of this I am wondering if the Scott is a better bike despite the 105 components.   Any info/suggestions would be wonderful!! thanks!!!

    newNola,

Hi! I don't see any responses to your question and thought there were some already posted.

I may have responded myself...  Since you are comfortable on both it seems that the Giant at $200 more for Ultegra seems the way to go. But I do think it is important that

a bike look cool to you as well.  Scott bikes fit differently than others from my experience. Often they size large a bit. So I would say go with FIT first then the higher end group. My buddy Steve is not exactly petite and he loves his CR1.

Let me know what you decide.
