how should i defend some one who has a clearly has a hight and weight advantage on me on a open floor

    If you can't, for whatever reason, switch checks with one of your team mates, use your muscle power! Use your forearm and body to keep him out of the paint and when he goes to shoot always put a hand up in his face. You may get called for a defensive foul but I get away with it most of the time but best suggestion would be trading checks with a more suitable team mate. Hope it helps

    Well, give them no SPACE . Move your feet, play your hardest. Even if they score, you'll get better over time .  Stay low, keep your feet wide and stay active .! You'll frustrate a tall player who is guarded by a small, tenacious one .!
