This event was fun and the volunteers were great.  It wasn't close to 5K however.  It was around 2.6 miles.

I had a good time. It started right at 8 am. The distance probably less than 5k. I had my Garmin on but the first part of the race was indoors and I didn't look at my Garmin 305 while indoors to check and see if it was picking up. The first mile was slow but that might have been due to the inside nature of the run, going up and down stairs and around corners. That was fun however as was running the perimeter. I got to the registration desk at 7:58 but there was no one there. I grabbed a number and had to try to find the start line. I made it and I think I was noted to be present. I was number 9. I had fun. I would do it again. It probably was about .2 or perhaps even .4 short if my Garmin picked up indoors. I showed 2.68 miles.
