The 16U Texas Bandits are currently holding open tryouts for the upcoming 2012-2013 season. We offer private facilities located in Cypress/Tomball, which includes indoor as well as outdoor facilities. The 16u team got off to a late start this past season by participating in their first tournament in May, but they quickly showed promise by finishing 3rd two times out of the three tournaments they played in and also qualified for state. The Bandits are coached by Xavier Enriquez who has 19 years of baseball playing experience with 5 years of select baseball and 2 years of college baseball. Coach Enriquez has successfully coached his baseball teams to the top 4 in World Series games in the past 5 years. Coach Enriquez's focus is to prepare players for high school and college. Coach Enriquez as of late has taken his vast knowledge and experience and is applying to the softball world. Coach Enriquez also provides private instruction in fielding and batting. Coach Enriquez is part of the Texas Bandits organization.
Tryout dates:
Saturday, 8/4, from 12 noon to 3:00 pm.
Saturday, 8/11, from 12 noon to 3:00 pm.
