Wilt Chamberlin was way before my time but he does hold alot of records,(the most common the 100 pt game) and his career scoring average is the same as MJs at 30.1. He also averaged something like 50ppg.

He was before a lot of peoples time haha. He played when there was no goal tending rule or no 3 seconds in the lane rule, thats why he was able to rack up all the points rebound and blocks he was able to. Don't get me wrong, he was good. But he had a lot of advantages that those playing after those rules didn't have. I think if he had to play with the two other rules his scroing average would go down by 5 to 10 points and his rebounds and blocks would probably be cut in half. He'd probably still be an all time great with those rules, but I'm just saying, if you didn't know those rules didn't exist yet, then it makes him sound a WHOLE lot better
mj for sure, and stevenash10, bill russell was the best defender ever, not just one of them.
"I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."-Michael Jordan
