I like Van Halen, (Dreams and When its love) George Thorogood (Who do you love), Rush (Subdivisions) and U2 (just about anything)
I really like the high energy songs. They pump me up especially when I get a little tired.
I liket the High Energy songs as well. Anything loud and fast, keeps me going....and going....and going....

hate me but i like slim shady when i run. but i listen to country in the car.
You'd really hate me then. I consider it a sin to run w/ headphones. Just the waves crashing against the beach is all I need. When on the trails I like the sound of quiet, the birds and the wind. It's all music to my ears.
You have an incredible amount of discipline, eugenecub. I have found that if I don't have a choice I can run very, very well without music. But I listen to music all the time and I have been thoroughly spoiled by having an ipod and being able to hear just about anything I want at any time.
I've added 3 more tunes to my "can't run without it" list.
Parallel Universe
Snow
Dis-Moi Porquoi (from a CD of North African music)
Chumbawumba Tumthumper
Toto Africa
Chariots of Fire themesong
Great songs!! I'll be spending a bit of time on itunes tonight...
Ok, this really shows my age, but I truly cannot run without some Prince music (old stuff-Purple Rain album). Just really seems to make me run fast.
Linkin' Park really gives me a second wind when I'm feeling like stopping.
i love the techno remix of ac/dc and bon jovi "shook me all night long" and "you give love a bad name" gives me that extra boost to make to the end! But anything upbeat works for me!
